Last week MOLA senior archaeologist Julian Bowsher visited Dallas, Texas to give the Boshell Family Lecture on Archaeology at the Dallas Museum of Art. The lecture was allied to the museum's current exhibtion, All the World’s a Stage: Celebrating Performance in the Visual Arts. Julian talked about the playhouses of Tudor London, including the Globe, the Hope, the Rose, the Theatre and bear-baiting rings
While in Dallas, Julian also discussed London archaeology and Shakespearean playhouses in an interview for KERA public radio.
