Stewart joined the Museum in 1987, and has managed projects with Museum of London Archaeology since April 2004. He has extensive experience in preparing archaeological project designs and desk-based assessment reports, and directing a wide range of archaeological field projects, from small-scale watching briefs and evaluations to large excavations with major post-excavation analysis and publication work, both in London and the UK.
Stewart is currently responsible for the London Boroughs in the south and southwest.
Stewart is a Member of the Institute for Archaeologists (MIFA) and holds the IOSH Supervising Safely Certificate.
