River Thames exceptional low tide clean up, 8-10am Friday 8 April
Thames21 are calling all volunteers to help clean up a stretch of London's historic Thames foreshore by London Bridge. Due to an exceptionally low tide, more of the foreshore is exposed than usual providing a rare opportunity to reach more rubbish and explore more of the Thames.
Nigel Jeffries of the Museum of London Archaeology Service will be in attendance to talk about the historic structures exposed at low tide and to examine items that may be found.
