Exhibitions
Archaeological discoveries can generate great public interest. MoLAS archaeologists are able to use their close links with the Museum of London’s curatorial departments to help get the latest finds onto public display – either as part of temporary exhibitions or through the longer term design of permanent exhibitions.
In recent years MoLAS has worked with many of its clients and our colleagues in the Museum of London to mount exhibits and displays in the Museum itself. In the last year the single largest project has been the relaunch of the Museum's medieval gallery, a major constituent of which is a selection of the stunning artefacts, objects and even conserved structures which have been excavated over the last 30 years.
