Life at LAARC
April 2008
Life at LAARC is extremely varied, as are the people who work here; be they staff or volunteers. We want to tell you what its like to be fortunate enough to work with London’s archaeological past, and encourage you to get involved!
Adam Corsini
Each month we will post an archive update on this page, written by Curatorial Assistant Adam Corsini, letting you know all that has been going on and what will be coming soon.

In addition to these updates, staff and volunteers will keep you posted with some of their day to day experiences at the archive.
We are hoping to announce news of this year's community excavation within the next few weeks. We are intending to link it into the discovery program for the Olympics, which already involves archaeological work undertaken by MoLAS & PCA.
LAARC helped launch the event at the Museum In Docklands last month. To read more about what took place click below:

The good thing is all this work is producing great results. In 2007, almost 8000 people used LAARC. Our aim this year is to interact with 10,000 in 12 months.
So far this year, we have interacted with just under 2000 people.
