Assistant Contract Manager
Louise is currently on maternity leave.
Louise became an Assistant Contract Manager in November 2010. She joined MOLA in July 2008 as a Senior Archaeologist in the MOLA Assessment Team, where her main responsibilities were producing archaeological desk-based assessments and detailed archaeological impact assessments for a range of urban and semi-rural sites.
Before joining MOLA, Louise worked in a project management capacity on the M74 Completion Project, a large archaeological excavation and outreach programme in Glasgow, completed as a joint venture between Pre-Construct Archaeology and Headland Archaeology. Louise was responsible for the smooth running of the public archaeology programme for the project.
Prior to this, Louise was an archaeological consultant for four years, working on a variety of projects in London and the south of England. These included archaeological desk-based assessments, detailed assessments of past impacts on archaeology on urban sites, and Environmental Statements for large rural sites and road schemes.
Louise holds the IOSH Supervising Safely Certificate.
