Beliz Tecirli joined MOLA in 2010 as an Assistant Contract Manager. She now manages and delivers archaeological projects throughout Greater London and the Southeast. Her particular area of expertise is heritage management and promoting archaeology to the public through participatory projects.
Beliz has previously worked as a consultant for historic building conservation and management, and as Manager at the Hackney Historic Buildings Trust. At the Buildings Trust, she oversaw administering, fundraising for and developing listed historic properties in the care of the Trust, in addition to providing advice to the property industry, academic community and public.
Beliz has a strong background in public relations and archaeology, combined with four years' experience in developing visitor services and exhibitions at the Hackney Historic Buildings Trust, within partnership projects with the National Trust, regional and local cultural organisations and the local government. Most recently, Beliz has been engaged on the development of a Regional Heritage Park at significant archaeological sites in central Turkey.
Beliz holds the IOSH Supervising Safely Certificate.
