MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) is a leading UK archaeological and built heritage practice. We have been providing independent advice and services to the development, construction, infrastructure and heritage sectors for 40 years. We help our clients to meet the heritage requirements of the planning process efficiently and cost-effectively, while designing innovative solutions that both add value to the scheme and deliver an educational benefit to the public at large.
MOLA became a charitable company limited by guarantee in November 2011 (company number 07751831; charity number 1143574), and operates its Northampton-based business through a subsidiary, MOLA Northampton (company number 8727508). MOLA is a business registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Mortimer Wheeler House, 46 Eagle Wharf Road, London N1 7ED.
MOLA is governed by a Board of Directors, who are also Trustees of the charities. They are: A.Michael Hoffman (Chairman), Sharon Ament, Joanna Averley, Sir Michael Bear, Professor Mike Fulford, Drs Marleen Groen, David Spence, Eric Sorensen.
MOLA is a Registered Archaeological Organisation with the Institute for Archaeologists.
